I took the NCE two days ago. After studying Rosenthal’s and your material for three months I went into the exam fairly confident but when I started reading the questions and flagging the first five my confidence began to wane. I was blown away that I felt the test was asking very little information about what I studied. Twelve minutes shy of taking the whole four hours I completed my review of the test and submitted it having no idea if I’d passed or not (they do a print out at my testing center and hand it to you as you leave). After receiving the print out I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. I received a 130 on the exam and passing score was 94! I was pleased and relieved to say the least. Your coverage of statistics was very helpful as there were 3-4 questions I was able to use my drawing of the bell curve, z-score, t-test, etc. Thanks for providing an excellent study guide.

I passed my NCE exam last Friday. I did find your material most helpful to me. One criticism I have is that someone else’s materials I studied (not yours) has many “all of the above” answers in their practice exams. In the actual exam I had none of those. Overall, I would choose your material over the others because of the similarities in the way the questions are presented in practice and in the exam. Thank you, cheers!

Thanks to your NCE prep DVD’s and information I passed the NCE in July. In your study material you requested feedback. Your information was on point and covered all of the areas. However, I did notice that there were several questions regarding the DSM-5 I did not expect. I did not study any information regarding the DSM-5. So I believe that adhering to your guidance regarding the other areas was instrumental in my passing the test.

Very challenging exam! However, this study guide was a wonderful resource. Would recommend to anyone preparing to take the NCE.

I passed my NCE with a high score. I used the 7th edition of the study guide. I received my MS in Counseling from Langston University in Oklahoma. Thanks a lot, your material made preparing for the NCE easier for me. Although I used Rosenthal too, I really felt your study guide helped me more to understand the materials better.
